After 53 years of armed conflict a peace treaty was signed between the Colombian government and the former guerrilla movement FARC in 2016. Since then, some 7.000 remaining members have settled in transition camps throughout the country to start the reintegration into civilian life – a historic step and essential to the complex process of building a long lasting peace in Colombia. This series provides insights into the former rebel’s new everyday lives and portrays the reintegration process on a human level.
